Taoism, known as "Daoism," is a philosophical and religious tradition that emphasizes living in harmony with the Tao, also known as "the Way." The Tao is the fundamental principle underlying the universe, signifying the natural order of things.

These are some of the core tenets of Taoism:

- "The Tao gives birth to all beings": This principle conveys the idea that every existing thing originates from the Tao, which is an eternal and nameless force. It implies a deep connection between all forms of life and the universe.

- "Balance of Yin and Yang": Yin and Yang represent opposite but complementary forces believed to be found in all things. Harmony in life is found through the balance of Yin (soft, dark, feminine, passive force) and Yang (hard, bright, masculine, active force).

- "Non-action (Wu Wei) as governance": Wu Wei is the concept of 'action through inaction' or 'effortless action.' It's the belief that the best way to manage life and governance is through minimal interference, allowing things to take their natural course without forcing them.

Taoism celebrates simplicity, spontaneity, and the three treasures: compassion, moderation, and humility. Its philosophy encourages followers to understand and live in accordance with the natural flow of life, symbolizing a unique philosophical perspective.
